For well over 500 years, the fruit, seeds, latex and extracts of Papaya were used to treat various ailments around the world1. The fruits and leaves were traditionally used in South-East Asia and Africa for wound healing and the treatment of inflammation (e.g. during burns2) and in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam, the Papaya latex were used to treat eczema and psoriasis3.

The foundation of the OnlyPapaya products is the Optimised Fruit Extract, an ingredient brought about by using a patented process that protects and preserves the enzymes and attributes of the fresh paw paws which go into the formulations. OnlyPapaya is Australia's first comprehensive skin care range to use pawpaw. We don't use dried or fermented fruits unlike other well known ointments. Our products are made from fresh Australian-grown paw paw and use natural ingredients, with No petrochemicals, No Parabens and No Sulphates.
